Woodley shrugged his shoulders in response to Dana White leaving the arena after his spectacular win over Darren Till at UFC 228.

Tyron Woodley looked spectacular against Darren Till. He was aggressive early on without being reckless, then landed a gorgeous counter right hand that transitioned into a slick D’Arce choke.

A great performance is typically cause for celebration, but Dana White left the building before he could answer questions about a fighter he has a sordid history with. In response, Woodley shrugged his shoulders, laughed, and added “he might say something this week, and next week might be something different.”

Calling their history sordid isn’t exactly clickbait. White has called Woodley “full of s—t”, a fight choker, and said he “shoots himself in the foot” when he opens his mouth, and Woodley has returned the favor.

None of this has gone unnoticed by the rest of the world. Jake Shields was just as amused by everyone else when White appeared to grumpily put the belt around Woodley’s waist. Pictures are floating around of White looking like Archie Bunker throughout an ordeal that was exciting to everyone else. Twitter comedians got some solid laughs out of the situation.

There could be a reasonable explanation for all of this. Maybe Dana was feeling ill. Maybe he had a family emergency. Or maybe that Avocado Bacon Burger from Whataburger didn’t sit well. Whatever the case, Woodley is making a case for his status as an all-timer, and he’s doing it (for now) in a way any fight promoter should encourage.
