Tyron Woodley is a man on a mission.

“The Chosen One” is a longtime friend and teammate of former UFC welterweight Ben Askren, who was stopped by Jake Paul in their Triller boxing match earlier this year. And not only does Woodley hope to get one back for “Funky,” he also plans to send the former Disney star back to YouTube once and for all.

“Easiest fight of my career and biggest purse of my career all in one night,” Woodley told ESPN. “Basically, they brought me in to take out the trash. I can’t wait to shut this bitch up. This is getting done for the culture, the whole MMA community and boxing community, to rid this guy of combat sports.”

Paul, a master troll and financial opportunist, has been living rent free in the heads of … well, just about everyone in the combat sports community, which is why fighters from BJ Penn to Amanda Nunes have asked to battle the social media star.

The Woodley fight is expected to headline a Showtime pay-per-view (PPV) on Aug. 28, though a venue and host city have yet to be determined. Woodley parted ways with UFC after losing four straight fights and will no doubt raise his stock by smashing Paul.

Or join “Funky” in the highlight-reel hall of fame.
