Relive highlights from the UFC 241 open workouts on Wednesday featuring heavyweight main eventers Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic, as well as welterweight co-headliners Nate Diaz and Anthony Pettis.

Cormier showed off a wide variety of skills during his workout. He drilled his head movement and footwork, his offensive boxing, his counter-striking and — of course — his Olympic calibre wrestling. His opponent kept things light. Miocic performed a short boxing session for fans before grounding and dry humping his coach.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Pettis lived up to his “Showtime” moniker. He dazzled the audience with an array of spinning and leaping kicks. He also showed off his acclaimed grappling game with a number of guillotine chokes and an anaconda choke. Diaz, undoubtedly the crowd’s most anticipated fighter, stole the show the best way he knows how. He briefly shadowboxed before pulling out a joint and sparking it onstage (video). The joint was passed to a cameraman and eventually made its way into the crowd.

UFC 241 takes place at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., this Sat. night (Aug. 17, 2019) on pay-per-view (PPV). MMAmania.com will be on the scene throughout fight week so stay tuned for more up-to-date coverage.
