Paul Daley has been fired from his Bellator analyst role.

It didn’t take long for Bellator to relieve Paul Daley of his broadcasting duties.

Daley (42-17-2 MMA) has spent the past year working behind the desk as an analyst for Bellator Europe but the Brit was recently fired for going ‘off script’ in one of his broadcasts, according to a social media post by ‘Semtex’.

“YOUR FIRED” ….., Been told I gotta step away from the Mic, Guess one of my opinions was a little off script…..and I thought I was just finding my groove,” Daley posted on Instagram yesterday.

Daley hinted that his comments regarding Michael ‘Venom’ Page and Bellator’s questionable matchmaking at Bellator London II were the reason for his departure. Page, who beat Daley via unanimous decision in 2019, KO’d Bellator debutant Gianni Melillo in the Bellator London II main event.

Daley, 36, last fought at Bellator 232, where he KO’d Saad Awad in the co-main event. Prior to that, the Nottingham-based talent beat Brazilian Erick Silva at Bellator 223.
