One of the UFC’s longest-tenured veterans will welcome one of the lightweight divisions most underrated fighters to the Octagon next month in Las Vegas.

Yves Edwards vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg has been signed for UFC 156 on Feb. 2, the promotion announced recently.

Vallie-Flagg (13-3, 1 NC) will be making his UFC debut after going 2-0 in Strikeforce. The Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA product is unbeaten in his last 11 fights.

Edwards (42-18-1) will be making his 17th appearance inside the Octagon next month. The 36-year-old is 2-2 in his last four fights, most recently knocking out Jeremy Stephens at UFC on FOX 5 last month.

Also announced for UFC 156, which will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center and will be headlined by Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar for the UFC featherweight title, was Chico Camus (12-3) meeting undefeated prospect Dustin Kimura (9-0) in bantamweight action.
