Rising star Zabit Magomedsharipov had a chance to break into the 145-pound top 10 when he met vet Jeremy Stephens in the featured prelim bout of tonight’s (Sat., March 2, 2019) UFC 235 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Dagestani had won all four of his UFC fights since 2017. He came into the fight as maybe the fastest-rising featherweight in MMA. ‘Lil’ Heathen’ needs no introduction, as he was one of the most experienced sluggers in the UFC. He came into the fight off a vicious body blow KO defeat from Jose Aldo.

The fight promised to be a slobberknocker and it did not disappoint. Magomedsharipov came out with his trademark kicks, going low on the shorter ‘Lil’ Heathen’:
