A pair of lightweights looking to kick 2017 off in style will meet at UFC 208, as Paul Felder battles Gilbert Burns.

Felder (12-3) has suffered losses in three of his last five fights after starting his career 10-0. Two of those have been decision defeats to Ross Pearson and Edson Barboza. He did record back-to-back victories to start 2016 over Daron Cruickshank and Josh Burkman before a TKO loss to Francisco Trinaldo in September.

Burns (11-2) also had a strong opening run to his career, winning each of his first 11 fights – three of which came inside the Octagon. Since, though, he has gone just 1-2, defeating Lukasz Sajewski and losing to Michal Prazeres and Rashid Magomedov via decision.

UFC 208 takes place February 11 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Currently, Holly Holm vs. Germaine de Randamie occupies the main event billing on the card along with Jared Cannonier vs. Glover Teixeira, Travis Browne vs. Derrick Lewis and Ian McCall vs. Neil Seery.
