Invicta FC 18 takes place on Friday July 29th, 2016, in Kansas City, Kansas at the Scottish Rite Temple and will air on UFC Fight Pass at 9:00PM ET.

The event is headlined by a strawweight battle between Mexico’s Alexa Grasso and veteran Jodie Esquibel. In the co-main event, former title challenger Irene Aldana will fight Christine Stanley to the promotion in a bantamweight fight.

The card takes place on UFC Fight Pass Friday night and features Alexa Grasso meeting Jodie Esquibel in the main event. That bout will be a title-eliminator in the strawweight division.

The nine-fight lineup for Invicta FC 18 is now complete with the addition of two final fights.

Aspen Ladd and Jessica Hoy meet in a battle of unbeaten bantamweights, while Tessa Simpson and Simona Soukupova square off in the atomweight division.

The entire card streams live on UFC Fight Pass July 29 from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City. In the main event, strawweights Alexa Grasso and Jodie Esquibel battle.

Ladd (3-0) kept her unbeaten mark intact with a win this past March over Kelly McGill. Hoy (1-0) will be fighting for the first time under the Invicta FC banner.

Simpson (4-1) is also making her debut with the all-female promotion, while Soukupova (5-3-1) is 1-0 with Invicta FC.

Invicta FC will return in July with a strawweight main event, as Alexa Grasso takes on Jodie Esquibel.

The card, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass, is set for July 29 from Kansas City.

Officials announced several other bouts for the night including Irene Aldana-Taila Santos, Agnieszka Niedzwiedz-Claudia Ray, Cindy Dandois-Jessamyn Duke, Megan Anderson-Peggy Morgan, Manjit Kolekar-Lynn Alvarez and Sijara Eubanks-Amberlynn Orr.

Grasso (7-0) and Esquibel (5-1) could be a title-eliminator, as both are coming off extended layoffs. Grasso has not fought since a win over Mizuki Inoue in 2015, while Esquibel has been out of action since 2014.
