Adult film actress and avid mixed martial arts fans and commenter, Kendra Lust has questioned if referees across the sport should call a halt to a fight after former UFC strawweight champion, Jessica Andrade explained how one of her breasts came out of her fight kit during her UFC Vegas 69 headliner with Erin Blanchfield last weekend.

Headlining the UFC Apex facility event in a short-notice clash with New Jersey native Blanchfield, Brazilian contender, Andrade replaced one-time flyweight title challenger and compatriot, Taila Santos on just a week’s notice.

Taking main event honors in her return to the flyweight limit, Andrade suffered an eventual second round rear-naked choke submission loss to the invicta FC alum on short notice – seeing her impressive run of three consecutive victories come to a crashing halt.

Following the upset subnmission loss, Andrade explained how she experienced a wardrobe malfunction en route to her loss to Blanchfield, with one of her breasts coming from her fight kit during the main event bout.

This is not an excuse, but when she (Erin Blanchfield) came in for the takedown, I lost focus,” Jessica Andrade said during a post-fight interview. “Because when she moved in, she put her shoulder just under my top and my breast completely slipped out. I lost focus and forgot to counter.

All I could think was my breast,” Jessica Andrade explained. “When I used my hand to put my breast back in the top, that’s when she was able to take me down. It’s all part of the game, though. It’s not an excuse. She really had a great gameplan. It wasn’t on purpose.”

UFC flyweight Erin Blanchfield enters the flyweight top three in the latest promotional rankings update following this past weekend’s victory.

While many tipped Blanchfield for future success, her impressive second-round finish of former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade was nothing short of spectacular. Blanchfield would secure a rear naked choke over the betting favorite, but also enjoyed success on the feet in the first round – the general consensus being that this is where she would find the most problems.

With the win, Blanchfield would take Andrade’s No.3 women’s flyweight ranking, pushing the Brazilian just down one spot to four. The 23-year-old was previously the division No.10 ranked fighter and also makes her debut on the female pound-for-pound list at the No.8 spot.

Blanchfield now appears set to take on the winner of Valentina Shevchenko and Alexa Grasso, who are scheduled to fight for Shevchenko’s undisputed title on February 4.

Erin Blanchfield eyes Shevchenko bout

Shevchenko has built an undeniable legacy, currently riding a nine-fight win streak, eight of which were title fights and finds herself second only to Amanda Nunes on the P4P list.

Still though, Blanchfield is up for the challenge and while it seems likely that a title fight is next, the American said that she would be willing to take another fight in between.

I’m definitely OK with fighting again,” said Blanchfield. “The title fight’s in two weeks, so I think it can line up perfectly. But if they want me to fight again, I’ll gain more experience.”

I would prefer Shevchenko, I think she beats Grasso, I think Grasso is a very tough fighter but I want to be the one that takes it from her.

Jessica Andrade claims an untimely wardrobe malfunction led to the fight-ending sequence in her main event matchup with Erin Blanchfield.

On Saturday night, Andrade stepped into the UFC Vegas 69 headliner on short notice for a showdown with fast-rising contender Erin Blanchfield. ‘Bate Estaca’ entered the bout on a three-fight win streak and was on the cusp of earning another UFC title opportunity until Blanchfield scored a second-round submission over the heavy hitting Brazilian. It was a statement victory for Blanchfield who moved to 5-0 inside the Octagon and slid right into Andrade’s No. 3 spot in the UFC’s women’s bantamweight rankings.

Discussing the loss in an interview with Ag Fight, Jessica Andrade revealed that she had lost focus during Blanchfield’s pivotal second-round takedown when her breast became exposed.

“This is not an excuse, but when she came for the takedown, I lost focus. Because when she moved in, she put her shoulder just under my top and my breast completely slipped out. I lost focus and forgot to counter,” Andrade explains.

Jessica Andrade Says She Shouldn’t Have Concerned Herself With the Accidental Slip

The slip didn’t appear to be caught on camera during the broadcast, but Andrade said it was enough to distract her from the work Blanchfield was doing which ultimately led to her succumbing to a rear-naked choke.

“All I could think of was my breast,” Andrade continued. “When I used my hand to put my breast back in the top, that’s when she was able to take me down. It’s all part of the game, though. It’s not an excuse. She really had a great game plan. It wasn’t on purpose.”

Of course, this was far from the first time Jessica Andrade’s breast had been exposed to the public. The former UFC strawweight champion had a brief stint on the popular internet content subscription service OnlyFans where she offered X-rated pictures of herself to curious fans armed with a credit card and a sense of adventure.

“We have to be ready for everything. I should’ve been prepared to let my breast be out if it slipped out. It has been shown in so many places before. I shouldn’t even be worried about that,” she said (h/t Bloody Elbow)
