Video: Conor McGregor’s Full Interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live

(“So Conor, how do *you* think Reebok is doing so far?”)

Conor McGregor, if nothing else, is one charismatic individual. He’s a quick thinker ( or perhaps “tinker”) and crack wit — as his back and forths with Urijah Faber on TUF 22 have demonstrated — and incredibly well-spoken when compared to the average fighter, even he if he does sometimes say things he later regrets.

Fame, respect, money, movement…these are all things that interest the “Notorious” one, and regardless of whether you think he’s “fake” or “real,” it would be tough to argue that he’s not achieving damn near every one of those tings. His interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night was a continuation of his meteoric rise since joining the UFC, and covered everything from the fallout of UFC 189 to his sparring match with “The Mountain” (which quickly escalated from playful sparring session into “a bare-knuckle body brawl,” according to the man himself) to which lavish, exotic pet he should buy after/if he beats Jose Aldo at UFC 194. FWIW, McGregor is leaning toward either tiger or monkey.

Video: This Jon Jones/Rampage Jackson Double Booking Stuff is Getting Ridiculous

Following suit with their dual appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and trusty sidekick Quinton “Rampage” Jackson appeared together on FuelTV‘s Late Show the other night. Rampage broke the tension in typical fashion, by dry humping the closest object to him, in this case Parks and Recreation cast member Alison Becker. It really makes you wonder what Rampage does to keep himself entertained while backstage at all these media appearances. Watch your back, Bones.

Join us after the jump for a few highlights.

Rampage: [on Jones’ legs] “They look like a couple of burnt toothpicks”

Rampage: [on playing the underdog] “I’m glad to be the underdog. I was the underdog when I won the belt the first time. When I’m expected to win…like in my last fight I wasn’t motivated at all.”

Jones: [on rumors of a spy in Jackson’s camp] “Oh I definitely have a spy in his camp…to be honest it’s his chef, so I know what he’s eating, what time he’s eating, his PJ’s…”

Thank God we can finally put these rumors to rest. But now that Bones has admitted to going all Angelina Jolie in Salt on Jackson’s chef, the question is, when will he start unleashing the “stank bref” jokes on the master?

I gotta say, Jon Jones and Quinton Jackson‘s appearance last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! wasn’t the tense shout-off that we were afraid it would be. The UFC 135 headliners needled each other at every opportunity, but it was a light-hearted affair for the most part. No, Dr. Phil didn’t try to smooth out their rivalry. Quite the opposite, as you’ll see in part two after the jump.

Jon’s best line: [to Dr. Phil] “You’re a doctor…what’s wrong with this man?”

Quinton’s best line:
[on Jon’s ears] “I thought you were the first black gremlin.”

Jon Jones and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson Will Mean-Mug Each Other Tonight on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

(It’ll be like their confrontation on Saturday, except with more nervous laughter from the interviewer. Props: isanoria)

Still don’t believe that the UFC likes to manufacture rivalries between fighters? Then how do you explain their decision to double-book Jon Jones and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson for a joint-appearance on tonight’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live? (ABC, midnight/11 p.m. central)

The soft-spoken UFC light-heavyweight champion and tough-talkin’ former champ are fresh off their personal-attack-heavy segment during the Shields vs. Ellenberger broadcast. Even with the two separated through the miracles of satellite technology, it felt like a fight could break out at any moment. So what will happen when they’re sharing the same couch to promote UFC 135?

As UFC.com mentions, “It’s unknown at press time whether the third guest on the show, Dr. Phil, will be brought in to try and smooth things over between the two.” Oh man. Kimmel, if you don’t make that bit happen, then Jimmy Fallon has won the war.
