“Are You Ready For This?” Mauricio Rua

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua posted this photo on Twitter (@ShogunRua) on Monday, a who’s-who of Brazilian champions, all of whom belong to the Blackhouse Gym. From left to right are Lyoto ‘The Dragon’ Machida, ‘Shogun’ Rua himself, Wanderlei ‘The Axe Murderer’ Silva, current UFC middleweight champ Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva, and Antonio ‘Big Nog’ Rodrigo Nogueira. I guess brother Rogerio (‘Lil Nog’) must have been the one taking the photo.
This image reminds me of a recent photo from the Blackzilian camp in Florida of Rashad Evans, Vitor ‘The Phenom’ Belfort, Tyrone Spong, Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson, and Alistair Overeem. Check the image out after the jump

Officials with the Ultimate Fighting Championship were quick to post the new poster for UFC 152 featuring UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones and former title holder Lyoto Machida, with the expectation that ‘The Dragon’ would be facing ‘Bones’ on September 22.

Apparently they were a little too quick on the draw as Machida turned down the fight, feeling there wasn’t enough time to prepare, so the UFC turned to ‘The Phenom’ Vitor Belfort as the man to fight Jones at UFC 152.

I think officials will wait a little longer before releasing that poster just in case ‘The Phenom’ has to back out.
