Last night I had my dreams of a seeing another Filipino World champion crushed after ‘The Filipino Wrecking Machine’ Mark Munoz suffered a brutal second round stoppage at the hands of Chris Weidman. To Weidman’s credit, the elbow was creative and devastating, making him an excellent candidate to challenge Anderson Silva next for the UFC title.

Strikforce women’s bantamweight champion Ronda ‘Rowdy’ Rousey (5-0) graces the cover of ESPN Magazine’s ‘the BODY issue’.
The entire magazine features a number of prominent athletes, such as New York Nicks center Tyson Chandler, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team and many others, who all take their close off to pose nude for the magazine.
The issue hits stands this Friday (July 13, 2012).
Rousey was the only mixed martial arts athlete featured in the 2012 issue.
