One of the more infamous stories in MMA history dates back to the early PRIDE days where MMA legend Wanderlei Silva and MMA fighter Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett reportedly got into a backstage fight at a show in Japan.

While that fight reportedly ended with Krazy Horse knocking out Wandy, video footage later surfaced showing him being choked out, in a separate incident, by Cristiano Marcello.

This weekend, history apparently repeated itself.

At the Rizin FF event in Japan this weekend, Bennett, who won his match on the show in spectacular fashion, called out “The Axe Murderer” in his post-fight interview (see above). Little did we know, this wasn’t their only interaction this weekend.

Video footage also surfaced showing Bennett and Silva getting into a verbal exchange at the hotel lobby ahead of the Rizin event in Tokyo this weekend. You can check out that video clip below.

Additionally, former UFC executive Campbell McClaren posted a photo of interaction that took place between Bennett and Silva backstage at the event itself this weekend. You can check out that photo below as well.

Nick Diaz hasn’t been off of suspension for his marijuana violation for that long, and he’s already flirting with disaster.

Tommy Chong of the famous “Cheech & Chong” comedy act took to social media this week to share a photo of himself and the Stockton, California native allegedly smoking an enormous joint.

Whether or not this was simply to attract attention or is something that USADA might be following up on remains to be seen. Regardless, above is the video and below is the photo, which Chong claims was taken this past Wednesday, September 21st.

Is it possible that Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino didn’t actually make weight for her 140-pound catch weight bout against Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night 95 this weekend in Brasilia, Brazil?

Featured above is a photo, taken by @MikeDyce, which shows the scale reading 141.6 for her weigh-in on Friday morning.

If true as the final number Cyborg saw while standing on the scale, the Invicta FC Featherweight Champion should have then been forced to get the towel out, strip down and see if she made the required weight of 141 pounds, since fighters are allowed to weigh one pound over the limit in non-title fights.

That never happened.

Regardless, Cyborg would go on to defeat Lansberg via second round TKO (video highlights here) at the event. For complete UFC Fight Night 95 results, click here.

It looks like “The Eagle” recently dodged a bullet.

Following his victory over Darrell Horcher in his return to the Octagon in his most-recent UFC fight back on April 16th at the UFC On FOX event in Tampa, Florida, UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov became the proud owner of a Mercedes AMG GT. A few months later, Nurmagomedov left the car with a friend while he went to San Jose, California to train, only to find out that the same friend crashed the vehicle in a minor accident in Makhachkala, Dagestan.

While Nurmagomedov was in San Jose to resume training at the American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) facility, he discovered that the friend he left the car with in his native Dagestan got into an accident on Friday, September 16th and suffered minor injuries in the process. The car too, only suffered minor damages.

“The Eagle’s” father and longtime coach Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov claimed that the car was barely damaged in the incident. “It’s okay,” he said. “The car is repairable. One lamp was broken, the hood and bumper are damaged. Even the glass is not broken. There is no problem.”

The story made the llocal news in Dagestan due to the popularity of the highly-regarded UFC contender, and you can check out the video from Life.ru below. A still photograph of the damages to the car can be seen above.
