Former Strikeforce champ Cung Le posted this photo on Twitter (@CungLe185) earlier today, letting the fans see his battered face after losing to Wanderlei Silva in the co-main event of Saturday night’s UFC 139 event in San Jose, California.

“Here is a picture of my face you wanted to see. I felt great till I got caught. Thanks @ufc fans for the nice messages.”

Le lost by second round KO with just eleven-seconds left on the clock, at the HP Pavilion in his UFC debut.

Fighters hit the scales in Moscow, Russia today for M-1 Global’s “Fedor vs. Monson: Battle of Legends” event.

Headlining the show is a heavyweight bout between Russian icon Fedor Emelianenko (238.3 lbs) and ‘The Snowman’ Jeff Monson (238.1 lbs).

The event will take place at the Olympic Arena in Moscow and will air all live via pay-per-view Sunday morning beginning at 7:30am EST (4:30am PST). Fans can check out iN Demand, DIRECTV, DISH Network and Avail-TVN for listings. The “suggested” retail price for the event is $29.95.

Following in the footsteps of other promotions. the undercard is set to stream live on Facebook.

Japanese fighter Yoshihiro ‘Sexyama’ Akiyama (13-4, 2NC) has had a rough go in the UFC’s middleweight division going 1-3, with three straight losses. After much prodding, and with his job on the line, ‘Sexyama’ has finally made the move to welterweight.

Here he shows off his new look just three months after his last fight at 185 lbs.

Akiyama does not have a scheduled fight at this time but most expect him to appear on the upcoming Japanese card planned for Feb. 26.
