Press Release – LOS ANGELES, CA – FUEL TV is proud to announce the second episode of UFC ROUNDTABLE: THE ANALYSTS –PART 2 on Friday, January 18 (10:00 PM ET). Host Jay Glazer is again joined by Kenny Florian (co-host of UFC TONIGHT), former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rashad Evans (FUEL TV analyst), UFC light heavyweight number-one contender Chael Sonnen (UFC TONIGHT co-host) and UFC light heavyweight Brian Stann (UFC ON FOX analyst).
Glazer continues his insightful and humorous discussion with the four analysts by focusing on the reaction they got when people found out they were cage fighters, the past UFC legends who influenced them the most, and today’s Octagon stars. The four share their favorite fighters, dream matchups, and argue who deserves the title of greatest pound-for-pound fighter ever.
When discussing the best UFC fighters of the early era of the UFC, Sonnen lists UFC Hall-of-Famer Randy Couture as his favorite: “Randy Couture, not just to watch but as a person. Let’s not forget he started his career at 34 years old and I think that’s very interesting. He also started in the tournament days [with] multiple fights in one night. Not a whole lot of guys from that generation were able to transform and keep up with the new rules, the new systems, the weight classes that were implemented and really make it by today’s standards. He did, and he did it in multiple weight classes.”
“Chuck Liddell was the one who stood out for me and it was more because of his attitude,” says Stann. “Chuck was that guy that if you called him on three hours’ notice and would say yes before he even knew who it was.”
Florian relives moments of watching his all-time favorite fighter of the early UFC era, another UFC Hall-of-Famer, Royce Gracie: “I don’t think there’s anything Royce Gracie can do for me not to be a fan. For me, he was the real life Bruce Lee. He was god to me and probably still is. He is my hero.”
Evans commends current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones for his dominance and explains why Jones is above all his opponents: “The reason why he fights so fearlessly is because he really doesn’t have that much fear. The minute you start having fear is the minute you become like everybody else who competes – afraid to take chances, afraid to pull off those big moves that you did in practice. That hesitation leaves you vulnerable for a counter.”
This is the seventh edition of UFC ROUNDTABLE. The earlier UFC ROUNDTABLE editions looked at UFC Champions, Legends and the top UFC welterweights. Look for FUEL TV to continue to get exclusive, inside access to the most important figures in the UFC through upcoming UFC ROUNDTABLES.

Leo Krishna is considered to be one of the most exciting prospects in all of MMA. Indonesian fans from around the archipelago have placed their faith in Krishna’s ability to be a future ONE FC world champion. With an outstanding ground game, the submission specialist feels at home on the canvas and will ultimately try to finish his opponent via submission. Indonesian MMA veteran Zuli Silawanto has a background in kickboxing, Pencak Silat and Submission Wrestling. Antoni Romulo is an Indonesian wrestling champion who made his MMA debut in Bali, Indonesia in 2007. Romulo is determined and eager to put on a display which will linger long in the minds of fight fans for years to come.

Krishna vs. Davis and Silawanto vs. Kayoom will be battles that Indonesian and Malaysian fight fans don’t want to miss as their national champions pit their skills in the largest MMA organization in Asia for the pride and glory of their country. I’m also excited to see how homegrown Indonesian wrestling champion Antoni Romulo does against an NCAA Division 1 Champion from the USA. This is a big test for these three great Indonesian warriors and I know everyone is looking forward to the excitement”, added Cui.

Press Release – XFC will make its first appearance of 2013 in Charlotte, North Carolina for XFC 22: Crossing the Line. The fight card is set to feature a mix of the top local talents and some of the XFC’s biggest names in both the men’s and women’s divisions. The main event for the scheduled card will be a Lightweight matchup between South Carolina’s Jason “The Ronin” Hicks and Tennessee’s Scott “Hot Sauce” Holtzman.
The winner of the bout will reportedly be the first in line for a title shot with the newly crowned XFC Lightweight Champion, Nick Newell. The XFC Lightweight division has become one of the most active under the promotions banner during the 2012 season and was capped off with Newell’s victory over Eric Reynolds at XFC 21. Making their way through the division, with consecutive wins inside the promotions cage, Hicks and Holtzman turned heads and had fans eager for the matchup.
Hicks, an XFC Open Fighter Tryout Winner, holds a perfect record of 5-0 with four finishes. He is 2-0 under the XFC banner, including his most recent win, a second round Armbar over Shane Crenshaw at XFC 19. He had been scheduled to fight Kevin Forant in December, before Forant was pulled from the card due to a broken hand.
Holtzman, the X-series Tryout Winner, meanwhile holds and unblemished 3-0 record, with all three wins in the XFC. He most recently defeated Chris Coggins in a referee stoppage, when Gary Copeland was forced to step in and save Coggins from the brutal ground and pound of Holtzman in the closing seconds of the first round at XFC 20. Coggins is best known for taking current champion Nick Newell a full three rounds before losing a close decision.
This will be a matchup of Holtzmans’ strength and athleticism versus Hicks technical skills. So far there are mixed reports as to who should be the favorite in the bout, with each fighter holding an advantage in different aspects of their game.
XFC returns to Charlotte, North Carolina for its first event of 2013, XFC 22 ‘Crossing the Line’.
