Colby Covington claims Sean Strickland is being investigated for pistol-whipping civilian in Las Vegas

Colby Covington is alleging that Sean Strickland is under investigation in Las Vegas.

Covington and Strickland have taken shots at one another in the past as the two have trash-talked one another. But, Covington took things to another level as he revealed the former UFC middleweight champion is under investigation for allegedly pistol-whipping someone in Las Vegas. Covington also claims that Strickland has CTE and will be going to court soon over the alleged incident.

Sean Strickland ripped by Colby Covington in new interview

“He was a washout in my division. He couldn’t handle it in my division, he got beat up, knocked out because he couldn’t cut it. I think he’s a bum, he’s been hit in the head too many times, he’s got CTE. Anything that guy says you can’t follow along, that guys going literally probably going to kill someone someday. He’s under investigation right now in Vegas. Some drunk guy was wandering the streets near his home, he goes outside the home, pistol-whips the dude in the middle of the street. He’s under crazy investigation in Vegas right now. He’s gonna be going to court,” Colby Covington said.

Covington is coming off a lackluster decision loss to Leon Edwards for the welterweight title back in December. It was his third crack at the undisputed welterweight title, and he has since been calling out Ian Machado Garry for International Fight Week but whether or not it will come to fruition is uncertain.

Covington is currently 17-4 as a pro and 12-4 in the UFC. ‘Chaos’ holds notable wins over Robbie Lawler, Tyron Woodley, Demian Maia, and Rafael dos Anjos among others.

Sean Strickland didn’t waste any time responding to Ian Garry’s wife, Layla Anna-Lee.

On early Wednesday morning, Anna-Lee posted a lengthy video on social media addressing three of the biggest lies being spread about her relationship with the 26-year-old UFC star. Much of it targeted Strickland’s prior comments, labeling Ian Garry a cuck and perpetuating rumors that Anna-Lee was still involved with her ex-husband, who is currently employed as Ian Garry’s nutritionist.

“I’ve been called a sexual predator, a pedophile, an abuser all by the man who allegedly suffered that exact abuse as a child growing up,” Anna-Lee said, referring to Strickland.

Snapping back at the “succubus” on X, Strickland accused Anna-Lee of seeking attention by rehashing something that he had long moved past.

“Alright succubus, I’ll give you what you want,” Strickland said. “You talk about me, I’ll give you what you want — attention. I don’t want to call you by your name because if we know anything about demons, the moment you start using their name it gives them power. That’s all you want, right? Power and attention. When you post a picture and you get those fake plastic t*tties in that tiny little dress, and you realize, ‘Man, I’m an old lady. No one wants to see me half-naked in a dress,’ and think to yourself, ‘How can I get the attention that I want?’

“You talk about me. You bring my f*cking name up. You’ve never done anything. You’ve never accomplished anything. The only thing you’ve ever done is seduce famous men. And let me tell you why you’re such a despicable person. Everybody has gone and forgotten about this. We’ve accepted Ian and we’ve accepted you, as disgusting as it may seem, and then you bring this back up and tarnish your husband’s name just because that little insecure succubus demon inside you wants attention.

“Whatever succubus cave you came from, just f*cking go back to it.”

Considering Anna-Lee also addressed Colby Covington’s recent comments, expect to hear from the three-time UFC title challenger before long.

UFC star Sean Strickland dubs Jake Paul a 'disgrace of a man' for agreeing to fight 57-year-old boxing legend Mike Tyson

Sean Strickland is once again tearing into YouTube-turned-pro-boxer Jake Paul.

It’s no secret that the former UFC middleweight champion does not like ‘The Problem Child’ or his never-ending stream of gimmick fights. Earlier this year, the two got into an uproar on social media after Paul took exception to Strickland’s treatment of Sneako — a popular Rumble streamer who decided to test his skills inside the cage with Strickland during a sparring session ahead of Super Bowl weekend.

The incident sparked a heated back-and-forth between the two that saw Strickland deliver a quasi-death threat to the 27-year-old millionaire.

This time, Strickland is taking exception to Paul’s announcement that on Saturday, July 20, he will return to the boxing ring for a fight with former unified champion of the world, ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson. The bout, scheduled to emanate from the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, has been the subject of much criticism. Most of that surrounds the fact that Paul is more than 30 years younger than Tyson who will be 58 by the time fight night rolls around.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson

“I wanted to f*cking murder Jake Paul,” Strickland said during a recent interview with The Schmo. “But it’s bullsh*t, man. It’s … I mean, how old is Mike Tyson, 60? It’s bullsh*t,” he said. “Jake Paul… you are a disgrace of a man. You are the epitome of weakness. You are the scum of the earth. The fact that you even have a platform or anything of that nature is a slight on society. You truly make me f*cking disgusted. If I ever encounter you in real life, I hope that I just don’t lose my sh*t and go to prison” (h/t Express).

Mike Tyson has 5x the experience and is more than twice the age of Jake Paul

No official announcements have been made, but rumors are circulating that Paul’s bout with the “baddest man on the planet” will be a professional boxing match, making it the first of Tyson’s career since a loss against Kevin McBride in 2005. Tyson did return to the ring in November 2020 to face legendary pugilist Roy Jones Jr, but the contest was deemed an exhibition that ultimately went to an eight-round draw.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson

As for Jake Paul, this will be his 11th pro fight in just over four years. ‘The Problem Child’ made a name for himself in the sport primarily fighting past-their-prime fighters from the world of mixed martial arts, including Ben Askren, Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, and Tyron Woodley on two separate occasions. He did step in the ring against a “legitimate boxer” in February 2023 when he met Tommy Fury — the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Paul lost the bout via split decision.

In more recent months, Paul has focused on attempting to legitimize himself in the sport by taking on a couple of no-name fighters who showed promise once upon a time. He quickly KO’d Andre August in December before quickly moving on to Ryan Bourland, who was a former Golden Gloves champion and National Junior Olympian during his amateur career. Paul overwhelmed Bourland and put him away with ease in the opening round.

Jake Paul vs. Andre August

Thus far, Jake Paul is 9-1 in his professional boxing career. Mike Tyson, who retired from the sport nearly two decades ago, holds a record of 50-6 with 44 of his wins coming by way of knockout.

Former UFC middleweight champion  Sean Strickland slams both Jon Jones and Coor McGregor in recent interview.

While no longer champion, Strickland has emerged as one of the biggest names in the current UFC landscape and has amassed a large fan base who enjoy his bravado and lack of filter.

Strickland is never one to hold back and is willing to express his opinion no matter the potential consequences or awkward situations it could lead to. This includes going after two of the biggest stars in MMA.

Tom Aspinall mocks size of Jon Jones after face off he's nowhere near as big as me

When asked about Jones by The Schmo, Strickland was straight to the point on the current heavyweight champion.

“At the end of the day, dude. Jon Jones is a piece of shit. I know that, the whole world knows that. We don’t need to reiterate his past, he needs to sack up and fight Aspinall,” said Strickland.

Strickland was then asked about McGregor and whether the Irishman will make his long-awaited return later this year after what has been endless months of rumours and alleged dates.

“I don’t know man… do we really care about Conor McGregor these days, he’s juiced out, roided out,”Strickland said. “Do we really still care about Conor McGregor, is he still a name in the UFC? Dude go retire on a yacht.”

What’s next for Sean Strickland?

Strickland is coming off a closely contested loss to Dricus Du Plessis in January in which he would drop his middleweight title. Some onlookers would score the fight for the American and still finds himself as the No.1 ranked middleweight.

It’s unclear exactly what will be next, but it is likely Strickland’s next fight will either be for the title, or a number one contender fight – potentially a rematch against Israel Adesanya.

UFC star Sean Strickland admits to feeling 'mentally unwell' every day: 'I feel like I'm a danger to people'

Ex-UFC middleweight world champion Sean Strickland continues to struggle with his mental health.

Over the last two years, ‘Tarzan’ has grown a cult following among fight fans for his energetic hot takes that range from mildly humorous to downright vile. Still, those who tend to disagree with his more extreme views tend to appreciate the fact that he’s essentially an open book — willing to say whatever is on his mind and far from shy when it comes to discussing his troubled youth.

But behind all of the homophobic and politically charged posts is a UFC star who is clearly struggling with his own mental health on a daily basis.

Sean Strickland

Recently, Strickland took to Instagram where he admitted to feeling “mentally unwell” despite amassing fame, fortune, and the highest level of success when it comes to punching other people in the face for a living.

“I’m always fighting the demons, sometimes I win, sometimes I lose,” Strickland wrote in the original video’s caption. “I lost last week. Anyways I understand a lot of my fans are very similar to me.. Just wanted to share this and remind you you’re not alone ?? and… Don’t be a P lol!”

Sean Strickland feels like he is ‘A danger to people’

“All week I’ve been f*cked up, dude,” Strickland said. “I’ve been on the Twitter saying crazy sh*t, just f*cking spiraling. I woke up and I told my girl that I feel like I’m a danger to people. I don’t feel like I should be out in the world. I have everything — I’m rich, famous, like I have everything I ever f*cking wanted and I’m still mentally unwell and I get in these mindsets where I want to burn everything down in the world.

“I want to have nothing so I can just f*cking lose it and take out everything on people. I think that you guys, in a weird way, are my family. I’ve shared some sh*t with you guys and you’ve shared some sh*t with me. I feel more connected with my fans than I think most people feel just because we’ve gone through a lot together and I have everything I want, but I still struggle.

“My memory is so short that when I get past the week I think, ‘Man, that was a really rough time in my life.’ But when I really think about it, this happens multiple times per month every month. And I don’t know why I’m telling you guys this. I’ve just been going through some sh*t. I’ll be fine. I’m gonna go train right now and try to hurt all my friends and all the demons will go away. I just want you guys to know that I have everything I want in the world and I still struggle. So whatever you guys are going through, I hope you feel better. I f*cking wish you all the best.”

Whether you love him, hate him, or find yourself somewhere in between, you can’t help, but appreciate Strickland’s willingness to put himself out there for the world to see.

Raquel Pennington denounces Sean Strickland Female fighters are here to stay UFC

Raquel Pennington was not a fan of Sean Strickland’s antics ahead of UFC 297 and took the time to discuss how his ridicule could be construed as hate speech.

Entering UFC 297 as the undisputed middleweight champion, Sean Strickland was on top of the world. As boisterous as ever, he showed up to media day wearing a shirt that proclaimed: “A woman in every kitchen, a gun in every hand.” That was just the beginning though, as he’d later go on and spout a number of comments that some could perceive as homophobic.

Speaking to Lowkick MMA reporter Mike Owens, Raquel Pennington would touch upon the experience of UFC 297 fight week, and address the comments that were made.

Raquel Pennington draws the line between freedom of speech and hate speech

“Everybody has their opinions, and they’re warranted to how they feel and stuff,” Pennington began, speaking as an openly gay woman. “But you’re not going to tell me how to live my life, and I’m not going to tell you how to live your life. I don’t find the need to judge other people’s lifestyles… He wants to talk about female fighters, but we’re here to stay.”

Raquel Pennington opens as betting favorite to beat Julianna Peña after UFC 297 title win

“I can respect the UFC for giving a platform to where we have freedom of speech, and they allow us athletes to be ourselves and whatnot, but I do feel a significant difference in freedom of speech and hate speech. And there were a lot of interesting things coming on that end (hate speech)… He talks all big and bad all the time on the camera, and he’s constantly running his mouth, but then you see him in person, and he’s looking the other direction.”

Raquel Pennington went on to say that things said on such a big platform can negatively affect the way some people feel. Saying that Strickland voicing such things on a platform like the UFC “breaks her heart”. But, ‘Rocky’ did hold firm in claiming that the ‘hate speech’ would never hold her back from doing her job in the cage.

What’s your opinion on Sean Strickland saying things that borderline on hate speech?
