After last night’s sophomore Octagon victory in Riyadh, surging middleweight prospect, Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov has agreed to take on fellow highly-touted challenger, Bo Nickal following a call out – praising the Colorado star’s wrestling ability.

Magomedov, who made his promotional bow last year at UFC 294, earned a decision win over Bruno Silva in Abu Dhabi – before taking on the Brazilian’s compatriot, Antonio Trocoli on short-notice overnight in Saudi Arabia, courtesy of a third round knockout win.

And improving to 13-0 as a result, the Makhackala native has landed himself on the radar of the above-mentioned, Nickal – who most recently enjoyed a second round rear-naked choke win over Cody Brundage on the monumental UFC 300 card back in April.

Staking his claim for a fight with the Russian ace after his knockout win over Trocoli, Nickal’s call out appeared to grab the attention of Magomedov, who described a potential pairing as an “interesting fight” for the duo.

“Yes, Bo Nickal is an interesting opponent,” Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov told assembled media after UFC Saudi Arabia. “Interesting fight – interesting opponent. He has good wrestling. Wrestling now for me, [is] no problem. I’m from Dagestani you know, brother. Russia – Russian men [are] icemen. No problem [with] wrestling, takedowns no problem. Dangerous damage: elbow, knee – let’s go.”

As for Nickal, the wrestling ace claimed he was unable to land himself a short-notice fight with former middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker atop last night’s card – failing to respond in time to the promotion’s short-notice offer.

Headlining the promotion’s premiere outing in Riyadh, ex-champion, Whittaker made lightwork of the seven-fight winning spree of Ikram Aliskerov, finishing the Russian with a brutal first round uppercut knockout win in Saudi Arabia.

Who wins in a future fight: Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov or Bo Nickal?

Surging Russian prospect, Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov has turned in his second victory on the trot since his move to the Octagon — finishing short-notice replacement, Antonio Trocoli in their main card clash at UFC Saudi Arabia in his return in Riyadh.

Magomedov, a revered striker at the middleweight limit, made his debut in the Octagon back in October of last year at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi, landing a decision win in a scrutinized outing against Brazilian contender, Bruno Silva.

And remaining on tonight’s UFC Saudi Arabia card in the Middle East, Magomedov took on short-notice foe, Troloci at the middleweight limit, seeing bouts with both Ihor Portieria and Joilton Lutterbach fall to the wayside.

Undefeated middleweight prospect Sharaputdin Magomedov drew the ire of combat sports fans online after a blatant display of unsportsmanlike conduct during a recent competition.

Sharaputdin Magomedov, an 11-0 fighter with ten wins by way of knockout, signed with the UFC earlier this year. ‘Shara Bullet’ was initially rumored to make his promotional debut at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi against 185-pound mainstay Derek Brunson, however, the bout has yet to be made official — but fans are already becoming acquainted with the Russian standout, albeit for the wrong reasons.

Competing at an ADCC event in Thailand over the weekend, Sharaputdin Magomedov was matched up with Polish grappler Jakub Bilko. During the contest, Magomedov was caught in a nasty-looking heel hook and appeared to tap out moments after hitting the ground. Bilko immediately relinquished the hold, but the poor sportsmanship of Magomedov quickly kicked in. In the video clip, which was shared by Bilko on Reddit, Magomedov can be seen immediately bouncing back up after the tap and standing over his opponent before throwing a kick.

Sharaputdin Magomedov was reportedly disqualified from the tournament following his apparent tantrum. “Did ADCC Bangkok last Saturday, literally got my a** kicked,” Bilko said of the incident.

This is far from the first time that Magomedov has allowed his temper to get the best of him. Last year, the UFC newcomer was caught on film physically assaulting another man. Needless to say, the attention ‘Shara Bullet’ has received for his latest outburst isn’t doing him any favors when it comes to winning over fans.

Undefeated Russian MMA fighter Sharaputdin Magomedov could be in big trouble.

‘The Golden Boy’ is coming off an impressive first-round finish of Rodrigo Carlos by TKO in February. Magomedov has remained undefeated in eight bouts as a professional mixed martial artist. He also maintains a 100 percent finish rate with all of his victories coming by way of knockout or technical knockout.

Undefeated Russian MMA Fighter arrested

Dagestan district police arrested the Russian MMA fighter after he brutally assaulted a man in a mall. The man was reported with his girlfriend in front of Magomedov on an escalator when the fight broke out. Magomedov took issue with the couple showing public displays of affection and confronted the couple when they kissed.

This led to an argument between the rising prospect and the man, after which the situation got much worse. Initially, they were trading shots coming down the escalator but Magomedov was not happy with that.

He waited outside for the man and proceeded to sucker punch him in the face. The man lost consciousness and dropped to the floor only for Magomedov to stomp on his head before others intervened to help the fallen man.

You can watch the video of the incident below.

“The two did not contact the police, as did the witness who predicted the incident,” the Dagestan police said in a statement.

Magomedov breaks silence on the incident

The Russian MMA fighter Magomedov was reported to have reached an agreement between them but they will be prosecuted for charges of “hooliganism and disturbing public order” with the security footage obtained from the mall as evidence against them.

“One has to understand the situation, in Makhachkala there are unwritten rules, a kind of moral code of our own. In Moscow it is acceptable (meaning the couple who kissed before him), but with us it is not acceptable. I could not shut up”.

“If it was a tourist or a stranger then you could just ask him to stop. I just wanted to tell him he was not behaving properly but I could not convey my message. He took it wrongly, there’s also a matter of pride – he hit me. It was unexpected, I suggested we talk about it – but he hit me. My last blow was definitely not necessary.” (h/t Sport1)
