Stephen Glover, better known as Steve-O, recently made a stunning revelation, claiming that Dana White once ditched a UFC main event to watch Jake Paul’s boxing match instead.

It’s well-known that for several years, Paul and White have been locked in a heated war of words, frequently clashing with starkly opposing views on a range of issues. It’s primarily “The Problem Child” who has, time and again, slammed the UFC CEO for underpaying his fighters and failing to provide adequate medical coverage.

On the other hand, White’s frustration with Paul became public when the YouTuber-turned-boxer began taking on retired UFC fighters like Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley in the squared circle. The UFC head honcho has fiercely dismissed the 27-year-old Ohio native’s criticism of fighter pay. White has also voiced his opinion that Paul only fights opponents well past their prime.

Although White isn’t fond of Paul’s crossover boxing exploits, according to Steve-O, the 55-year-old businessman once tuned in to watch “The Problem Child” take on one of the most prominent ex-UFC superstars.

Steve-O Claims White Skipped UFC Nashville Main Event to Watch Paul vs. Diaz

During a recent appearance on BS w/ Jake Paul, Steve-O, a close friend of White, revealed an interesting moment from UFC Fight Night Nashville in August 2023. While Cory Sandhagen battled Rob Font in the main event, White apparently found the fight dull and slipped backstage to his room.

Instead of watching the UFC headliner, he tuned in to catch Paul’s cruiserweight showdown against Nate Diaz, which was happening simultaneously at the American Airlines Center in Texas.

“I can tell you that when you boxed Nate Diaz that night, there was a UFC Fight Night in Nashville, Tennessee,” Steve-O said. “I had arranged to fly to Nashville because I was very interested in looking at properties… You know, that’s why I was in Nashville for this fight night. It was Cory Sandhagen versus Rob Font, and the main event was dreadfully boring. Dana dipped out of the arena, and after the fight, I was walking out, and we were like, ‘Oh, what’s up with Dana?’ We go into his room, and he’s just turned on you fighting Nate Diaz, and I watched you fight Nate Diaz with Dana.”

In an interview with boxing icon Mike Tyson last year, White dispelled the widespread belief that he harbors hatred for “The Problem Child”. In fact, White clarified that he doesn’t dislike him at all.

Instead, he’s friends with Jake’s sibling, Logan Paul, whose beverage Prime became the official hydration partner of the UFC in February 2023.

Michael Bisping scored his own finish at UFC Vegas 73 on Saturday night.

The former UFC middleweight champion was on hand for what turned out to be a spectacular night of fights at The APEX in Las Vegas. In the main event of the evening, Mackenzie Dern delivered a show-stealing performance against the always-game Angela Hill, but the action didn’t stop there. Following the broadcast, Michael Bisping was called into the Octagon to join Jackass star Steve-O.

With one-time middleweight title challenger Marvin Vettori by his side, ‘The Count’ was tasked with choking out Steve-O inside the cage, a wish ‘The Count’ was more than happy to grant. In the video clip, which you can see below, Michael Bisping sends the professional(?) stuntman to la-la land in a matter of seconds.

Of course, Steve-O comes to moments later and appears to be genuinely excited by the feeling of lost consciousness.

Once he got the Jackass star back to his feet, Michael Bisping turned his attention toward the camera where he congratulated the night’s big winner. “Mackenzie Dern got the job done tonight. Congratulations to her. Great striking and jiu-jitsu as always,” Bisping said. With the victory, the No. 8 ranked strawweight moved to 8-3 inside the Octagon. She is just 2-2 in her last four, but those losses came against two of the best in the division, Marina Rodriguez and Yan Xiaonan.

Saturday was a big night for women’s mixed martial arts as four fighters saw their hands raised, including perennial contender Karolina Kowalkiewicz. The Polish Princess scored her third-straight win as she continued a career renaissance, besting streaking standout Vanessa Demopoulos. Elsewhere, Natalia Silva delivered a brilliant performance against Victoria Leonardo while Loopy Godinez made it two in a row against Emily Ducote.

Dern vs. Hill was appropriately dubbed Fight of the Night, earning both competitors a $50,000 bonus for their effort.

‘He’s A Sick F*ck’ – Daniel Cormier Reacts To Jon Jones Cutting Steve-O’s Ear With Scissors In Viral Stunt

Daniel CormierFormer two-weight UFC champion, Daniel Cormier has described two-time opponent and former light heavyweight kingpin, Jon Jones as a “sick f*ck” – after stuntman and renowned Jackass star, Steve-O recounted an incident where the latter cut off a section of his ear with a scissors after a viral video they had filmed together. Former two-weight UFC champion, Daniel Cormier has described two-time opponent and former light heavyweight kingpin, Jon Jones as a “sick f*ck” – after stuntman and renowned Jackass star, Steve-O recounted an incident where the latter cut off a section of his ear with a scissors after a viral video they had filmed together.

Daniel Cormier twice fought Jon Jones under the banner of the UFC

Cormier a former undisputed light heavyweight and heavyweight champion under the UFC banner, retired from professional mixed martial arts back in August 2020 following a title challenge loss to Stipe Miocic

Twice sharing the Octagon with his heated rival, jones during their respective UFC tenures, Cormier would unsuccessfully pry the title from the Rochester native, before an eventual head kick knockout loss in the pair’s rematch was overturned to an official ‘No Contest’ after Jones tested positive for banned substances.

Yet to feature in the Octagon himself since February 2020, Jones successfully defended his light heavyweight crown in a close, back-and-forth unanimous decision win against Dominick Reyes, however, would vacate the official title in August – with a view to securing a heavyweight division climb.

Still yet to make good on the move amid links to an eventual interim title offing against Ohio favorite, Miocic, Jones was recently the topic of conversation between the above mentioned, Cormier, and Steve-O – who recalled a 2020 video in which Jones attempted to give him cauliflower ear, before he would have to eventually trim the lug with a pair of scissors – after hitting the Jackass star’s ear with a nail hammer.

“A whole piece of my ear is just hanging down,” Steve-O told Daniel Cormier during a recent interview. “And it’s the most intense thing you’ve ever seen, and we got a pair of scissors and just chopped off this whole piece of my ear. Jon (Jones) did it – Jon did.”

“He’s a sick f*ck,” Daniel Cormier said of Jon Jones. “I told you! I’ve always known he was a sick f*ck. He chopped off your ear! Oh my god.”

If Kevin Holland taught MMA fans anything recently, it’s don’t challenge professional fighters on the mats. But if there’s one person who goes against the grain and does what others warn against, it’s Steve-O.

From swimming in shark-infested waters with a hook in his mouth and wearing a jellyfish on his head like a sombrero to sending fireworks shooting out of his backside and being flung in the air like a yo-yo inside a portable toilet (don’t google this one, you’ve been warned), the Jackass star performs stunts and enters situations that would never end well for him.

We can now add ‘grappled a former UFC champion’ to that list.

In a video recently uploaded to Instagram by the Jackson Wink MMA gym, the 47-year-old can be seen grappling with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion and current #2-ranked 135-pound contender Holly Holm.

In a matter of seconds, the Brazilian jiu-jitsu blue belt drags Steve-O down with ease, takes his back, flattens him out, and sinks in a rear-naked choke.

Are we sure there’s no time to add this as a scene in the upcoming Jackass Forever film?

Jackass Stars 0-2 Against UFC Stars

Holm’s grappling success against Steve-O added a second point for the UFC. The first came in the form of a grimace-inducing punch to the groin by Francis Ngannou.

In a scene in the latest installment of the fan-favorite TV and film series, “The Predator,” who boasts the hardest recorded punch in history, delivered a shot flush to the gentleman’s area of “Danger” Ehren McGhehey.

For fans, specifically male ones, nothing is more painful to see in an MMA contest than a kick, knee, or punch to the cup. What’s that I hear you say? What could be worse?

How about a clean, fully-loaded shot to the crown jewels from a man capable of sleeping anybody on the planet with as much as a graze?

With another Jackass star falling at the hands of a UFC fighter, the question is, who’s next? How about a Brazilian jiu-jitsu match between Johnny Knoxville and Mackenzie Dern?

Who had it worse, Steve-O against Holly Holm or “Danger” Ehren against Francis Ngannou?
