Street Fight of the Day: Russian* Dude Knocks Two Fools Cold With Just Two Punches

As is often the case with Russian alley fights, context and backstory are completely irrelevant here. But basically, this video features a guy in a hooded jacket demolishing two consecutive foes with two perfect punches. The first victim gets falling tree’d with a left hook. The second one eats an off-balance haymaker and drops to the ground, temporarily dead.

Watch that second knockout again and you will notice two things. 1) The dude got knocked out while trying to throw a leg kick. In a street fight. So, so embarrassing. 2) The second knockout victim also had a cigarette in his mouth at the time, which was ejected like a bullet due to the force of the punch. Those two details combine to make this video a late front-runner for 2014 Unsanctioned Fight of the Year. If you have any better candidates, let us know.

MMA in the Wild: The Flying Kick Knockout That Nobody Saw Coming

It was supposed to be a one-on-one fight, but you know how these things go. As soon as White Shirt Guy started landing on Blue Shirt Guy with a Matt Brown-esque storm of violence, Blue Shirt Guy’s homey stepped in from the sidelines to pull White Shirt Guy off. And according to the unwritten rules of Mexican street fights, as soon as there is encroachment by an amigo, team fighting commences. In this case, a friend of White Shirt Guy runs in and immediately ends the match with a flying head-kick out of a Jackie Chan movie.

My favorite part of this video actually comes directly after the flying kick, when the guy who landed it is so psyched up that he starts bouncing around like Vega from Street Fighter II. That’s the kind of dude you want in your corner.

The appeal is obvious: We rarely get to see aggressive dickheads get their comeuppance in real life, so it’s always incredibly satisfying when moments like these are caught on tape.
