Well, it hardly feels like a tournament when the last time we saw any Quarterfinal action from the Strikeforce Heavyweight World Grand Prix Tournament was back in February where Antonio “Big Foot” Silva knocked Fedor Emelianenko out of the running and Sergei Kharitonov that should have retired Andrei Arlovski. But finally we will see the second half of these Quarterfinals coming this June 18th in Dallas.
Alistair Overeem is still set to take on Fabricio Werdum and Brett Rogers will still face Josh Barnett. We have to congratulate Strikeforce for hanging in there and still trying to see this tournament through, but at this rate it may take a couple years the entire year to crown a winner.
