Some people forgive, but never forget.

Ryback took to social media on Wednesday, giving a receipt to the man who has publicly ripped into him for his “unsafe” style of work in the past.

Ryback posted a tweet in response to the news that CM Punk’s UFC debut will be delayed once again due to back surgery, kicking “The Best in the World” while he’s down.

The WWE Superstar took a line that Punk used during his infamous rant on the “Art of Wrestling” podcast about being injured by Ryback in WWE in the past.

“Either you’re doing it on purpose and you suck, or you’re dumb as f*ck. Which is it?,” Punk claimed to have asked Ryback when describing the incident during his widely circulated shoot interview on Colt Cabana’s podcast. It was then that Punk said that Ryback replied in a dejected manner, “I’m dumb as f*ck.”

“The Big Guy” was likely anything but dejected when re-delivering the line to Punk in a Twitter response on Wednesday.

“CM Punk, my bad. It was an accident,” Ryback wrote on Twitter. “I’m dumb as f*ck.”

As seen below, Ryback ended his tweet with a sarcastic “kissy-face” emoticon.

For those who missed the original story, it was announced that CM Punk’s UFC debut has been postponed again on Wednesday, as the former WWE Superstar turned UFC hopeful underwent surgery this week to repair a back injury.

As previously reported, Jon Jones is being charged with driving without a license, registration, and insurance, by a Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Deputy in Albuquerque, NM. He appeared in court on Wednesday and his case was “vacated,” according to MMAjunkie.

The former UFC light heavyweight champ is now scheduled to be back in court on March 23rd, and his case will be heard then.

Jones failed to notify his parole officer that he had been stopped and ticketed, and for that will receive three additional days of community service.

Jones will fight Daniel Cormier at UFC 197 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 23.

Eddie Alvarez: There’s A Simple Way To Beat Conor McGregor, But Nobody Seems To Be Doing It

According to UFC Lightweight contender Eddie Alvarez not only is there a way to beat UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor, there’s a specific style that if correctly implemented, would make it look easy.

Alvarez spoke about the proper game plan needed to beat “The Notorious” Irishman during his appearance on Monday’s edition of “The MMA Hour.”

“For me, it’s a very simple fight for [Rafael dos Anjos] to win, but he needs to implement a ground attack. If he don’t, I honestly feel like he can get knocked out, just like the other guys Conor was able to knock out. But he can’t allow it to be mostly of a striking [contest].

“I hate when guys who are from a BJJ background and a good wrestling background abandon their whole base and their whole fundamental because a lot of guys around them are telling them that they’re really good strikers. I hope RDA doesn’t do that. I hope he sticks to what he’s good at and wins the fight in a dominant fashion the way he can, the way I feel like a lot of guys can that aren’t doing it against Conor.”

The former Bellator Lightweight Champion elaborated when breaking down McGregor’s recent victory over Chad Mendes.

“There’s a simple way to win against this guy and nobody seems to be doing it. It’s really frustrating to watch. I feel like he’ll look foolish. I honestly feel it could be an embarrassment. It could be like everyone in the crowd going, ‘Wow, that was it? Why didn’t anybody else do that?’ It could be that surprising to people. That’s how I feel. We just haven’t seen him there.”

“Let’s talk about that for one second. Mendes is primarily a wrestler, correct? Primarily a wrestler. In order to implement a wrestling attack, it takes a ton of energy and a ton of conditioning and energy. You can’t roll off the couch and implement a wrestling attack against a guy. It’s just not going to happen. You need to be conditioned. You need to be in shape. If you’re a wrestler and you’re rolling off the couch and going to fight, essentially, you have no weapons. You have none. Your only weapon wrestling is no good because you’re not conditioned.”

In closing, Alvarez made it clear that he is frustrated and ready to see someone end the “whole goddamn spectacle” that is Conor McGregor.

“The guy hasn’t been in the fight we need to see him in. Nobody’s implemented an attack and when someone does, it’s over. This whole show’s over. The whole goddamn spectacle’s over. I don’t know why no one’s doing it. It’s very frustrating.”

Those who had a problem with the oblique kick Jon Jones has used in the past are going to absolutely hate what he’s working on in the gym these days.

Featured above is a video posted on Jones’ official Instagram page, which shows the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion working on a modified jumping version of the kick with Mike Winklejohn.

“It’s a very controversial move,” Jones said, justifying his use of the kick in a past Fight Land segment. “But if someone was trying to give us brain damage, we believe it’s an even trade off to give him a little limp for the rest of his life. So try it out, guys.”

While the oblique kick is perfectly legal in the sport of MMA, it is a controversial move due to the potential instant and severe injury ramifications that it could cause.

“Bones” will have his chance to test out the move when he attempts to recapture his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, as he makes his Octagon return at UFC 197 against Daniel Cormier on April 23rd.
