Kevin and George from the Uncut Sports Show breakdown all of the action from this weekend’s Ultimate Fighter Season 17 Finale, including the surprise of the night when Kelvin Gastelum did the unthinkable to Uriah Hall. Gastelum used his wrestling background to consistently take down Hall and take away his most important weapon, his quickness. Kelvin Gastelum says the reason he won season 17 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) was because he wasn’t “scared” to bring the fight to Uriah Hall and was determined to keep the pressure on “Prime Time.” Next up? Kevin and George from the Uncut Sports Show breakdwon all of the action from this weekend’s Ultimate Fighter Season 17 Finale, including the bout between Travis Browne and Gabriel Gonzaga. Travis Browne wanted it to be known he’s a striker. Well, OK then.
With six vicious elbows while he was clinched up along the cage, Browne (14-1-1 MMA, 5-1-1 UFC) put Gabriel Gonzaga (14-7 MMA, 9-6 UFC) out and just like that, raised his stock in the UFC’s heavyweight division. Who here believes that Kevin would take a punch from Browne for 20 grand? Would you?

Kevin and George from the Uncut Sports Show break down all of the fights from this weekend’s Ultimate Fighter Season 17 Finale, including the fight of the night between Cat Zingano and Miesha Tate. If people didn’t know who Cat Zingano was before Saturday, they do now. Or they will very soon. Zingano (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) stopped Miesha Tate (13-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with a third-round TKO victory, surviving a couple rough rounds with the former Strikeforce champion to rally for the win. Zingano was impressive and should be an interesting candidate to potentially challenge Ronda Rousey at the top of female MMA.
