Georges St-Pierre has dominated opponents for years inside the Octagon, and now it looks like he’s set to take Hollywood by storm as well.

The reigning welterweight king announced via his Twitter account on Thursday that he will be lending his voice to the French-Canadian version of the soon-to-be released Disney/Pixar animated flick Monsters University.

The Toronto Star reports that St-Pierre will voice a hairy purple monster named Art in the prequel to the 2001 hit, Monster’s Inc. The role is voiced by Charlie Day of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia fame in the English version of the film.

While American fans won’t be able to hear the MMA star’s voice when the film hits theaters on June 21, they will get a chance to see St-Pierre on the silver screen when the sequel to the 2011hit Captain America: The First Avenger debuts next year.

This past March, it was announced that the reigning welterweight king would be playing the villain Batroc the Leaper, a French speaking mercenary and martial arts master, in the upcoming Marvel film Captain America: The Winter Solider.

St-Pierre recently finished filming his scenes for the highly touted comic book film and even got a chance to take on Captain America himself, actor Chirs Evans, during his stint on the set.

The much anticipated sequel is set to be released in theaters on April 4, 2014.

With all of these high profile roles coming in for the champ, one can only hope that his days in low-budget MMA movies are over.
