Welcome to the Bleacher Report live updates and results of Bellator 97, live on Spike TV from New Mexico. The card is stacked full of championships and tournament action, concluding the 2013 summer series.
Two titles will be on the line in the main and co-main events. First, Ben Askren puts his welterweight title on the line against hungry Russian Andrey Koreshkov. Then, lightweight king Michael Chandler defends against fan-favorite David Rickels.
Also, two tournaments will come to an end on the main card. In the light heavyweight division, Muhammed Lawal meets Jacob Noe for a shot at the light heavyweight title down the road. Also, heavyweights Vitaly Minakov and Ryan Martinez battle it out, with the winner meeting Alexander Volkov for his heavyweight strap.
The prelims begin at 6 p.m. ET on Spike TV, while the main card broadcast starts at 7 p.m. ET on Spike TV.
