UFC welterweight fighter Jon Fitcth (23-3) is coming off a win over Thiago Alves in his last fight at UFC 117. Fitch was interviewed at this Saturdays Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Noons II event saying that he’d like to face the winner of the UFC 121 bout between Martin Kampmann vs. Jake Shields.

Fitch has won five straight since his loss to UFC welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre. The fighter has gone on to defeat Akihiro Gono, Paulo Thiago, Mike Pierce, Ben Saunders and Alves over the past two years. All of those wins were by unanimous decision.

The last time Fitch ended a fight was back in June of 2007 when he submitted Roan Carneiro with a rear-naked-choke at UFC Fight Night: Stout vs. Fisher.
