Much has been made about Ronda Rousey’s inevitable comeback to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

After all, the former UFC women’s Bantamweight champion saw her perfect legacy come to an end when Holly Holm knocked her out cold at UFC 193. With her international stardom and mass appeal intact, Rousey’s return to the Octagon is a hot topic around these parts.

Well, in a recent interview with TMZ Sports (shown below), UFC president Dana White shed some light on the former queen’s potential return.

“I just had dinner with her the other night. She’s in a great place mentally, physically, emotionally — every way you can be good, she’s good,” said White. “She’s talking about coming back at the end of this year.”

White added that it’s looking like November or December would be the most realistic timeline.

That’s funny. Wasn’t professional mixed martial arts just legalized in the state of New York? Isn’t the promotion already planning an event for Madison Square Garden later this year?

What perfect timing for a Rousey return. Current Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate better get her ducks in order.
