Bellator will have perhaps the biggest night in its promotion history Jan. 21, when Tito Ortiz and Chael Sonnen headline Bellator 170 in Los Angeles.
Scott Coker, Bellator‘s president, announced the decision on Twitter:
Ortiz, 41, has not fought since losing to Liam McGeary at Bellator 142 in September 2015.
Sonnen, 39, will be making his return to the sport after a three-year retirement. He last fought Rashad Evans to a first-round TKO loss at UFC 167. It will be Sonnen‘s first fight for the Bellator promotion.
