The UFC has just wrapped up its biggest event in the history of the promotion, as UFC 205 went down live in New York City from the Madison Square Garden arena where heavy-hitting Irishman Conor McGregor made history.

McGregor would go on to knock out lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez in the main event of the evening, where he would become the first man in UFC history to hold two titles in different weight classes at the same time, as he now holds the featherweight and lightweight title. During the promotion for the massive event the UFC had been using the song ‘Welcome To New York City’ by rapper Cam’ron ft. Jay Z, however, it seems that UFC President Dana White did not get the 40-year-old rapper’s permission and will thus be settling the issue in court.

Cam’ron recorded a video to discuss his issues with the UFC and White, stating that he and his lawyer will be seeing him soon:

“Second order of business is Dana White from the UFC, you been using my song all week to promote the Conor McGregor fight at Madison Square Garden,” Cam’ron said. “The song, ‘Welcome To New York City’ featuring Jay Z, off my album ‘Come Home With Me’. Once again nobody reached out to me.

“(Chuckles) Oh man. I guess you know, it’s nobody’s fault because it’s the first time both of these companies are doing business with me, and somebody should have told them how I get down. We’ll be reaching out tomorrow, me and my lawyer, see you tomorrow.”
