UFC heavyweight Roy “Big Country” Nelson is tentatively scheduled to meet Frank Mir on May 28th at UFC 130 but in this interview Nelson won’t confirm the event date for the fight. He does though, throw out some “conspiracy theories” concerning the heavyweight division at 3:32.
“This is a conspiracy theory; this is just me talking out of my butt. Shane Carwin has nobody to fight. We got Frank Mir fighting supposedly me. Then you have (Junior dos Santos) fighting Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar doesn’t really want to fight because I was supposed to fight him; he wanted to fight me, that’s not going to happen.
“So I see Brock walking out like Tito did in the show, he goes to Wrestlemania. Then who does JDS have to fight? I think Frank will probably jump over there because he’s coming off a win and I’ll probably get Shane Carwin.”
