UFC on Versus 5 came and went with a bang, featuring great performances by Ben Henderson, Chris Lytle and many others.
The news here following UFC on Versus 5 should be the medical suspensions and payouts for these fighters.
Following the main event, Dan Hardy will now have to take a mandatory 30-day rest period following his third-round submission loss to Chris Lytle.
Following the co-main event, Jim Miller has received an indefinite suspension, been told to take a CT scan and have a medical exam conducted. Henderson has also received a suspension and must have his elbow cleared by an x-ray.
Kyle Noke is also suspended after apparently suffering damage from his submission loss to Ed Herman. Noke was caught in a heel hook which could be the reason as to why he is required to have an MRI done on his knee.
Noke is suspended indefinitely.
Overall, Lytle was the biggest winner from this card in terms of payout, earning a nice $70,000 check for his fight, which includes a $35,000 win bonus. Lytle also won “Submission of the Night” and “Fight of the Night”, which earned him more money for his victory over Hardy in what is his final fight in MMA.
Lytle has earned a grand total of $200,000 altogether for his fight at UFC on Versus 5.
