Former Strikeforce heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem got into a bit of hot water with the Nevada State Athletic Commission earlier this month for failing to meet their deadline for submitting a drug test last month.

The two sides worked things out, with the NSAC imposing some restrictions on the Dutch fighter by requiring him to test four times, one immediately, one when he arrived in Las Vegas, and twice more in the next six months at random dates following his UFC 141 bout.

Overeem went to the UK for the first test, which came back clean, and on Monday, submitted his second sample for testing according to ESPN. The results for that test won’t come back till after the fight.

After arriving in Las Vegas on Monday, UFC 141 headliner Alistair Overeem submitted a urine sample at a Quest Diagnostics facility, per the terms of his conditional license issued by the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Dec. 12.

Results of the urinalysis aren’t expected to be known by the time Overeem is scheduled to fight Brock Lesnar at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Friday, NSAC executive director Keith Kizer told ESPN.com.

Overeem is scheduled to face Brock Lesnar this Friday in Las Vegas in the main event of UFC 141, which will all go down in the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
