UFC 142 marks the promotion’s next effort to bring the sport back to the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The event will be headlined by a featherweight tilt between champion Jose Aldo takes and Chad Mendes, while middleweight sluggers Vitor Belfort and Anthony Johnson will battle in the co-main event of the evening.
While the headliner and supporting act remain intact, their have been several bouts that have fallen through thanks to injury, and new opponents have since been targeted for these respective matches.
