Needless to say, this video from a small East Coast fight league in Charlotte, N.C. from January 26th is not for the weak of heart.
Making his professional debut at Fight Lab 20: MMA Cage Fights, Kenneth Crowder took on 1-1 Shane Tyner in a bantamweight contest that had plenty of highlights, but one particular sequence clearly dwarfed the rest.
As Crowder was in Tyner’s half guard, he dropped a vicious elbow—an elbow so vicious it would make Jon “Bones” Jones’ jaw hit the ground.
Immediately upon making contact, Crowder slices off a sizable chunk of Tyner’s heavily cauliflowered ear.
Amazingly, Tyner still manged to go the distance and lose via unanimous decision.
There aren’t too many displays of unbridled toughness greater than that, folks.
Readers/viewers can thank Cage Potato for the gruesome find.
