Former UFC heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez isn’t letting any of the talk surrounding who will face Junior dos Santos for the UFC title effect him, whether it’s Alistair Overeem or his own opponent, Frank Mir.
“Right now…Frank is in front of me so that’s who I’m training for, that’s who I’m getting ready for. That’s pretty much it. If it changes then I’ll need to adjust for whoever.”
He and Mir are currently scheduled to meet in the co-main event of UFC 146 next month on May 26 in Las Vegas.
