Former PRIDE and Strikeforce veteran, Dan Henderson, will try to win UFC gold once again when he faces light heavyweight champ Jon Jones on Sept. 1, 2012 in Denver, Colorado. In this interview with MMAInterviews.tv, Henderson offers some thoughts on matching up against Jones and the champs recent victory over Rashad Evans.

“The most surprising thing was what Rashad Evans didn’t do, not what Jon Jones did do. It was more about what Rashad didn’t attempt. In the first round he kind of mixed it up a little but, but he still didn’t get offensive with his wrestling at all, didn’t try to set it up, didn’t try and control the fight with his wrestling.”

The 41-year-old has a lot more to say, including some thoughts on fellow Team Quest fighters, scoring a win for Josh Koscheck over Johny Hendricks, and more. There are also some quick interviews with fighters such as Bellator champ Ovince St. Preux and Strikeforce’s Virgil Zwicker.

All this and lots more after the jump.
