Chael Sonnen – On One Leg Henderson Was Willing To Do What Jones Wasn’t

Former UFC middleweight contender Chael Sonnen rips into light heavyweight champion Jon Jones for refusing to fight him on eight days notice, and in Sonnen’s words will have to face him with a full training camp behind him.
“I just don’t know why he won’t fight me next Saturday. What else does he have to do, like a wine tasting at a local race track or something I haven’t heard about. I don’t know, I don’t know what his deal is. Maybe Dana (White) didn’t make it clear enough that he was willing to fly Jones out, maybe Jon thought he had to drive.”
“…Dan Henderson was on one leg and did everything he could to still make that date. Dana White flew him out and had his own doctor look at Dan’s knee and said ‘look, you can’t go.’ So Dan Henderson on one leg was willing to do what Jon Jones, who’s healthy, isn’t willing to do.”
