The 28-year-old Grant (19-5, 6-3 UFC) has captured plenty of attention during his current three-fight win streak. Most recently, he garnered Fight of the Night honors for his bloody beating of Evan Dunham at UFC 152.
Wiman, 29 (15-6, 9-4 UFC) won his second straight with a Submission of the Night-winning performance over previously undefeated Paul Sass at UFC on Fuel TV 5 in September. It was Wiman’s first fight after taking a year away from the sport.
Coincidentally, Wiman was a guest Wednesday on The MMA Hour radio program.
“He’s a great fighter,” Wiman said of Grant. “He’s good everywhere and he brings it. He’s on a roll. I’ve always liked him as a person and as a fighter.”
