The UFC on Fox 6 card in Chicago is filling up quickly, as three new fights have been added to the card.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that three Illinois natives will have secured spots on the card. Those three fighters are heavyweight Mike Russow, newly it dropped featherweight Clay Guida and featherweight Ricardo Lamas.

Guida made the drop to featherweight after a long run at lightweight. He will meet Hatsu Hioki, a long-time Japanese featherweight staple who steps on Guida‘s home turf.

Guida dropped his last two lightweight fights in a row, dropping decisions to Benson Henderson (the UFC lightweight champion) and former top contender Gray Maynard.

Meanwhile, Hioki is 2-1 since entering the UFC. His latest outing saw him lose to Lamas by decision.

Lamas will be fighting on the card, looking to move one step closer to a featherweight title shot. He meets Erik Koch in a fight that was moved from UFC 155.

Lamas is 3-0 in the UFC, beating the likes of Matt Grice, Cub Swanson and Hioki. With a resume like that, he could be on his way to the top soon.

Koch trains out of Milwaukee, so this will be close to home for him as well. Koch is 2-0 in the UFC, beating Raphael Assuncao and Jonathan Brookins on his journey.

Lastly, Russow will meet Shawn Jordan at heavyweight. The former Chicago cop is looking to come back from a loss to Fabricio Werdum in his last fight, which snapped a 4-0 run in the UFC.

Jordan is 1-1 in the UFC and coming off a stinker of a loss to Cheick Kongo. Previous to that, he made a successful debut against Oli Thompson.

It is not certain where these fights will take place on the card, but with the star power so far, they will likely be on the prelims.
