MMA H.E.A.T.’s Karyn Bryant catches up with Michael Chiesa minutes after his win over Anton Kuivanen at UFC 157. Michael lets us know if he expected the submission victory, the circumstances surrounding his last-minute withdrawal from a fight in December 2012 and what he hopes to accomplish in the lightweight division this year. He also answers a few questions about his epic beard and whether or not it is advantageous inside the octagon.
Chiesa earned a second round submission over Kuivanen, using a rear-naked choke to end things at 2:29 of the round.
