We are just one day away from the eight-round exhibition matchup between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul, which goes down at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL on Showtime and Fanmio PPV. Of course, whenever it’s the day before the fight it means it’s weigh-in time.

As outlined when this fight was made, Mayweather can’t be above 160 and Paul not above 190, but the Florida commission isn’t sanctioning this and it’s an exhibition so they can just change things up whenever they want. This just adds to the drama and you’re mostly watching for the faceoffs and to see if Floyd and Logan are in good physical shape.

You can watch the ceremonial weigh-ins at the top of the page starting at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. The undercard professional fighters and those competing on the non-televised portion have already weighed in but I doubt you care.

Weigh-in results:

Floyd Mayweather (155) vs. Logan Paul (189.5) [Exhibition]

Badou Jack (177) vs. Dervin Colina (176.4)

Jarrett Hurd (158) vs. Luis Arias (158.6)

Chad Johnson (179.5) vs. Brian Maxwell (183.5) [Exhibition]

French uber-prospect, Manon ‘The Beast’ Fiorot improves to 7-1 professionally, and nabs her second Octagon victory via a brutal second round bluegeoning of Tabatha Ricci on the preliminary portion of UFC Vegas 28 this afternoon.

Making her second Octagon walk, the flyweight upstart entered the fray off the back of an eye-catching high kick and strikes stoppage victory over Victoria Leonardo at UFC Fight Island 7 in January of this year — in her promotional bow.

Utilsiing her expert striking from the onset and throughout, the 31-year-old Nice native eventually dropped Ricci midway through the second frame, before swarming at the Octagon fence with strikes. Forcing referee, Herb Dean to step in and separate the two, Fiorot began teeing off with heavy winging hooks and straights, connecting heavily on a defence-less, Ricci.

Below, catch the highlights from Fiorot’s impressive second UFC victory.

Darren Till vs. Derek Brunson is being targeted for an upcoming UFC event in London.

A middleweight bout between Darren Till and Derek Brunson has been targeted for the upcoming UFC 266 pay-per-view on Sept. 4 at the O2 Arena in London, England, MMA Fighting revealed on Friday following an initial report from ESPN.

Till and Brunson were originally expected to collide at a UFC Fight Night event on Aug. 14 but that date has been pushed back, per sources. UFC 266, which takes place the following month, will feature a headlining light heavyweight title bout between Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira with Till vs. Brunson expected to serve as the co-main event.

The UFC hasn’t hosted an event in London since Mar. 2019 — pre-pandemic — when Till was knocked out by Jorge Masvidal in the UFC Fight Night 147 main event.

‘The Gorilla’ is looking to rebound from his unanimous decision loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC on ESPN 14 while Brunson, 37, is knocking on the door of title contention with a four-fight winning streak.

UFC 266: Blachowicz vs. Teixeira will take place on Sept. 6.

Check out the betting odds for UFC Vegas 28, where heavyweights Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Augusto Sakai can be found at pick’em lines in the main event.

It’s fight day for UFC Vegas 28, which is happening from the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Heavyweights will grace the main event when the #6 rated, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, gets it on with the #9 rated, Augusto Sakai. Bloody Elbow is here with the betting lines for this collision of big men, as well as for the rest of the UFC Vegas 28 lineup.

We’ve got a pick’em line here with Rozenstruik and Sakai, and how appropriate. Heavyweight is the division where literally everyone is heavy-handed, and all it takes is one to end the show. Both of these men are willing strikers who will likely look to trade on the feet. Talk about a 50/50 fight. Currently, Rozenstruik can only be found with a minus line around the -115 mark, while Sakai resides in a plus and minus spectrum from -108 up to +108. If you’re looking for action on this one, then it is what it is with Jairzinho, but it might be wise to shop around on Augusto.

The over/under for this 25-minute affair has been set at 2.5 rounds, and both the over and the under can be scooped up for -105 a piece. Another 50/50 wager for this already 50/50 fight. Regardless of the split over/under, the oddsmakers do not foresee this main event lasting all-five rounds. The prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is rocking a strongly favored line of -195, with a +160 comeback on the ‘Fight goes to decision’ option.

We’ve seen Sakai get neutralized to a decision, and pounded out late, but we’ve never really witnessed him getting ran right through. He’s pretty hard to kill. As for Rozenstruik, we’ve seen him too be neutralized, but also get absolutely sparked out by Francis N’Gannou — although I’m not sure we can really hold Francis against him, or anyone else for that matter. Jairzinho might actually be hard to kill as well.

The bookies have “Bigi Boy” listed as the more likely fighter to produce a finish. The prop bet ‘Rozenstruik wins inside distance’ is trending around a small underdog tag of +155, with ‘Not Rozenstruik inside distance’ on deck at -185. Going back the other way, the proposition ‘Sakai wins inside distance’ possesses longer odds of +240, with ‘Not Sakai inside distance’ posted up at a lofty favored line of -300.
