McGee made his welterweight debut this past February picking up his first win at 170-lbs by defeating Josh Neer by decision at UFC 157. Whittaker fought a few weeks ago at UFC 160 in Vegas stopping opponent Colton Smith at UFC 160 by knockout. The win made it two in a row for the New Zealand fighter who won the welterweight final of the TUF: The Smashes series by beating Brad Scott by decision.
Edwards is 2-2 trading wins for losses over his four trips to the Octagon. ‘Fast Eddie’ earned a “Submission of the Night” bonus for his technical submission win over Josh Neer last October at UFC on FX 5. The prior loss was by decision to John Maguire at UFC 138.
