For the first time in the history of the organization, the Ultimate Fighting Championship will be making their broadcasting television debut on the Fox Network on November 12th, 2011.

UFC on Fox 1 will be headlined around current heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, who will square off with No. 1 contender Junior dos Santos.

As November 12th quickly approaches, fans from across the globe patiently await for what has potential to be the biggest night in UFC history.

Recently, it was television and movie star Mandy Moore who weighed in with her predictions on who would win the heavyweight title fight between Velasquez and Dos Santos.

In a Fox interview Moore stated, “I am pumped for the UFC heavyweight title fight.”

Not only is Moore excited for the title fight, but she’s hoping to see a knockout.

“Cain Velasquez and Junior dos. Seeing a heavyweight fight pretty much guarantees that there’s going to be a knockout,” said Moore.

While it was a tough choice in deciding who she felt would walk away with the heavyweight title, Moore stated,

“It’s a tough choice but I think I got to go Cain Velasquez. He’s the more well-rounded fighter in my opinion.”

“I got to go with Cain.”

UFC on Fox 1 can be seen on Fox beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET and 6:00 p.m. PT.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is just days away from making its broadcasting television debut on the FOX Network.

UFC on FOX 1 will air live from the sold-out Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. on Nov. 12 beginning at 6 p.m. PT and 9 p.m. ET.

The main event will be headlined around current UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, who will look to make his first successful title defense against No. 1 contender, Junior Dos Santos.

However, Velasquez and Dos Santos will be entering the Octagon hearing a new voice.

Instead of Herb Dean, the UFC has been informed by the state of California that “Big” John McCarthy will referee the main event between Velasquez and Dos Santos.

According to George Dodd, the executive officer of the California State Athletic Commission, “The UFC has been informed that there is a 99 percent chance that John McCarthy will be in the cage for the main event.”

And while many UFC fans were thrilled to hear the news, UFC president Dana White wasn’t one of them.

White made it clear he would rather have Dean overseeing action on Nov. 12, saying, “I think Herb Dean’s the best referee in the business. Now I won’t get Herb Dean because I said that.

UFC fans can expect to hear McCarthy’s famous saying of, “Are you ready? Are you ready? Let’s get it on!”
