How many guys could get away with the nickname “Sugarfoot” in the world of MMA? Let me save you the thought and answer that.

Opponents of his have petitioned that his name should be changed to Sugar Fist and indeed Ray Sefo is a bad man, competing in kickboxing, pro boxing and MMA on the highest level.

Our correspondent Anton Skoro got a chance to talk with the former kickboxing champ and Strikeforce fighter at Randy Couture’s Xtreme G.I. Foundation Pre-Poker Run Party.

We talked to Sefo about the Magic of watching Randy Couture finish out his career and mentions his thoughts of what would have happened had Couture won.

Sefo then transitions over to his MMA career, chatting about training BJJ out here in Las Vegas with Robert Drysdale, and just waiting for Strikeforce, or Zuffa to call him for another fight. When asked who he would love to fight he brought up a interesting list of names.

When asked if a Fedor bout would bring him back into competition for one last hurrah, he answered with a stern “no,” reiterating that we have seen the last of Couture in the Octagon.
