The UFC and Fuel TV released a 22-minute video for the upcoming main event fight between Rich Franklin and Cung Le. The fight takes places on Fuel TV in Macau, China.
The video showcases the process from which the fight was announced and goes through the training and thoughts of both Franklin and Le.
This event is going to go down in history, as it is the first time the UFC has made its way to China. Le is one of the biggest stars in Asian MMA, while Franklin is a legend of the UFC. Both are former champions.
Enough of my blabbering. Be sure to watch the video above, as it is an interesting view.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that three Illinois natives will have secured spots on the card. Those three fighters are heavyweight Mike Russow, newly it dropped featherweight Clay Guida and featherweight Ricardo Lamas.
Guida made the drop to featherweight after a long run at lightweight. He will meet HatsuHioki, a long-time Japanese featherweight staple who steps on Guida‘s home turf.
Guida dropped his last two lightweight fights in a row, dropping decisions to Benson Henderson (the UFC lightweight champion) and former top contender Gray Maynard.
Meanwhile, Hioki is 2-1 since entering the UFC. His latest outing saw him lose to Lamas by decision.
Lamas will be fighting on the card, looking to move one step closer to a featherweight title shot. He meets Erik Koch in a fight that was moved from UFC 155.
Lamas is 3-0 in the UFC, beating the likes of Matt Grice, Cub Swanson and Hioki. With a resume like that, he could be on his way to the top soon.
Koch trains out of Milwaukee, so this will be close to home for him as well. Koch is 2-0 in the UFC, beating Raphael Assuncao and Jonathan Brookins on his journey.
Lastly, Russow will meet Shawn Jordan at heavyweight. The former Chicago cop is looking to come back from a loss to Fabricio Werdum in his last fight, which snapped a 4-0 run in the UFC.
Jordan is 1-1 in the UFC and coming off a stinker of a loss to Cheick Kongo. Previous to that, he made a successful debut against Oli Thompson.
It is not certain where these fights will take place on the card, but with the star power so far, they will likely be on the prelims.

With the announcement of a fight between Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis in Chicago on January 26, I have been salivating at the possibilities that this card brings. Yes, I am an Illinois native living quite close to Chicago.
Cerrone-Pettis is a great start, and Chicago is a great place for Pettis to fight. Training and living in Milwaukee, Wis., he will be close to home for this fight.
With that, here is a card full of fighters from the Midwest that could complete the card.

The fight many fans have been waiting to see may now have a home and date.
As reported by mmajunkie.com, the lightweight contenders could meet at a proposed UFC on Fox 6 card. As of right now, a venue has not been determined, though Chicago has been brought up by the source from mmajunkie.com.
The two were reported to be fighting back at UFC 150 in Denver, before Pettis went down due to injury. Since then, the two have been linked together more than once, including the upcoming UFC on Fox in Seattle in December.
Cerrone has been hunting for this fight for a while. In the mmajunkie article, Cerrone was quoted about the stipulations surrounding this fight.
“Every time I suggest it, his manager comes back and says, ‘Well, maybe ‘Cowboy’ could fight somebody else right now,’ and it’s just this excuse to not fight,” he said.
Pettis‘ camp disputed that claim and said the fighter would be ready to fight Cerrone, especially if a title shot were on the line.
Pettis recently suffered from a staph infection that was thought to keep him out for a bit, but it seems his recovery went smoothly.
His most recent fight came back in Japan at UFC 144. He defeated Joe Lauzon with a brutal head kick that was thought to have earned him a title shot. That was, until Frankie Edgar was granted an immediate rematch against Ben Henderson.
As for Cerrone, his most recent win came at UFC 150 when he knocked out old training partner Melvin Guillard. He is now 8-1 under the UFC banner.
