It’s a question that has long been pondered by MMA fans all over the world, who has the sexier ring girls?

The UFC or Bellator?

Okay, so maybe it hasn’t been pondered all over the world, but it certainly is something to look into.

After Bellator 48, our very own Matt Juul had the privilege of speaking with the Bellator ring girls, Jade Bryce and Mercedes Lewis, and they are even hotter in person than they are on TV.

You can look at the two main girls for the UFC as well, Arianny Celeste and Chandella Powell, and you can’t help but wonder, who truly is sexier?

Read on for the sexiest slideshow on B/R today.

Note: Brittney will not be included in the battle, because it would be unfair to the other ring girls.

Bellator 48 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT featured an amazing night of fights with the entire card putting on an exciting show.

After the event, Bleacher Report caught up with Seth “The Silverback” Petruzelli to get his thoughts on his performance, Kimbo’s boxing match and what happened to his hair.

The first question had to be about Seth’s hair, at which point he took off his hat and said, “Okay, you see the receding hairline there? I couldn’t hide it anymore.”

We went on to talk about where Seth saw his future—at light heavyweight or heavyweight. “I felt really comfortable at 220. I feel strong, I feel fast”

In the meantime, Seth looks to take a few months off, relax and let some injuries heal.

On Kimbo’s boxing match, Seth said, “I think he should have done that five years ago. The opponent obviously was questionable, but I’m happy for Kimbo, and I’ve said it before. People always ask me if I would get in a boxing match with Kimbo. I 100 percent would get in a boxing match with Kimbo.”

He then went on to say that he was offered that match a few years ago. “I was, there is truth to that—whether the promoters were being truthful whether they talked to him or not, I don’t know. They told me that they approached it with him, and they said that they didn’t want to do it.”

To close out the interview, Seth was asked how he felt about performance this evening. He said, “Excellent. It could not have gone any better for me. He wasn’t trying the takedown attempts like I thought, so I was able to let my hands go, let my kicks go—which obviously made some cool highlights if I get to see them. [It] definitely happened just how I wanted it to go.”

Bellator 48 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT featured and amazing night of fights with the entire card putting on an exciting show.

After the event, Bleacher Report was able to catch up with the Bellator CEO, Bjorn Rebney, and get his thoughts on the evening.

Bjorn and I spoke briefly backstage before the main card started, and he voiced his concern that some of the fights may not be as good as they could be based on stylistic differences and things of that nature. When asked what he ended up thinking of the fights, he said “they turned out better than I could have hoped.”

When asked what Bjorn would say to the fans in attendance that booed during Cole Konrad’s fight, he said, “as a fan, I can appreciate the desire to see action…but when you look at a guy like Cole, you have to understand the totality of the fact that he just stood with a guy that has one way that he’s going to beat you, and that is left hand and right hand.”

After talking about Joe Warren’s sticky situation, we went on to talk about whether or not Joe Warren would lose some marketability if he loses in the bantamweight tournament. Bjorn did not think so.

To close out our chat with Bjorn, I asked his thoughts on fight night bonuses. He said, “I’ve never been a fan of it. I don’t think it’s wrong. It’s never been something I looked at and thought, ‘hey that’s an incentive'”

After that, I asked whether or not anyone would get a bonus for beating someone in Dennis Hallman trunks, to which Bjorn laughed and said, “I don’t know that if we gave bonuses that would warrant one.”

What a night of fights Bellator provided on Saturday.

From the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., Bellator had one hell of a card.

Every one of the prelims was packed with action, and when the card went live on MTV2, nothing changed.

Seth Petruzelli knocked out Ricco Rodriguez in impressive fashion, Cole Konrad showed big improvements in his standup game, and Pat Curran delivered a knockout of the year candidate when he annihilated Marlon Sandro.

For a quick recap of the main card last night (and some pictures of the lovely Bellator ring girls), read on.

Last night at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., Bellator put on an outstanding card.

Bellator 48 featured Seth “The Kimbo Killer” Petruzelli going up against the former UFC heavyweight champion, Ricco Rodriguez.

In the co-main event, there was a non-title superfight featuring the heavyweight champion, Cole Konrad, against the always-dangerous Paul Buentello.

The main event of the evening had Marlon Sandro face off against Pat Curran in the Bellator Summer Series finale in the featherweight division.

Curran landed a massive head kick in the second round, and Sandro was out cold.

Could Curran make it in the UFC? He has potential, but probably not yet, but here are five fighters who could make some serious waves in the UFC.

New details about the UFC’s extraordinarily-anticipated Fox debut have been revealed.

According to LasVegasSun.com, the UFC’s network TV debut will feature only two fights on the live televised program.

The main card will start at 6 in the evening, will run until 7 pm, and will be over before Manny Pacquiao’s fight versus Juan Manuel Marquez even starts.

According to UFC CEO Lorenzo Ferttita,

“It’s going to be a little different with the first one, it’s going to literally be back-to-back action. We aren’t going to mess around with a lot of pre-fight commentary, post-fight commentary. We are going to roll right in, set up the fights and let the action go.”

He added that, per usual, should the first televised fight go quickly, they will fill in “as they always do.”

Lorenzo made sure to assure fans the fights would be “big and relevant.”

It is being rumored that Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir could complete their trilogy in the main event, which would definitely bring in droves of people anticipating the return of one of the biggest names in the sport.

Dana White indicated however that Brock Lesnar’s return will not come until next year.

The event will take place November 12 and is expected to take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA.
