UFC officials added five more bouts to the upcoming UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort event on Wednesday.
No new matchups that haven’t been previously announced were made, but a featherweight bout between Chad Mendes (9-0) and Michihiro Omigawa (12-8-1) has finally been given a date.
Also made official were matches featuring Demetrious Johnson vs. Norifumi “Kid” Yamammoto, Gabe Ruediger vs. Paul Taylor, and Mike Pierce vs. Kenny Robertson.
UFC 126 is set for Super Bowl weekend, Feb. 5, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and is headlined by a UFC middleweight bout between champ Anderson Silva versus top challenger Vitor Belfort.
