With 2012 now in full swing, more and more UFC events are being added to the calendar as the promotion rounds out its year.

Coming up next for mixed martial arts fans is a lightweight championship battle in Japan, where current UFC champion Frankie Edgar where defend his title against former WEC champion Benson Henderson at UFC 144.

Also on hand for the coming months will be an April light heavyweight championship bout in Atlanta, Ga.  Champion Jon Jones will finally face bitter rival Rashad Evans at UFC 145.

Despite fan favorites like UFC champions Anderson Silva and Georges St-Pierre sidelined with injuries, the UFC has a lot of great fighters on their roster to round out their schedule.
