On Tuesday, Officials with the Ultimate Fighting Championship announced a couple of bouts for the upcoming UFC on FX 4 event in June. The promotion confirmed a previously announced lightweight match between Spencer Fisher vs. Sam Stone and revealed a bantamweight contest between Edwin ‘El Forez’ Figueroa (9-1) vs. Ken Stone (10-3).

According to the announcement Figueroa and Stone have verbally agreed to the June bout.

UFC on FX 4 is expected to take place on June 22, 2012 at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Fans can expect the Figueroa vs. Stone bout to appear on the nights prelim card, likely streaming live on Facebook.

Figueroa has won two straight in the Octagon since dropping his debut just over a year ago. ‘El Feroz’ earned a split decision win over Alex Caceres at UFC 143 after Caceres was penalized two points for kicks to the groin. Previous to that, Figueroa stopped Jason Reinhardt via second round TKO at UFC on Versus 5 and lost a decision to Michael McDonald at UFN 24.

Stone is just 1-1 in the Octagon, having won his first fight last September at UFN 25 by choking out Donny Walker at the New Orleans event. Stone had been scheduled to face Mike Easton last January at UFC on FX 1 but was forced out due to injury. Stone debuted at the TUF 13 Finale in June of last year, losing to Scott Jorgensen via knockout.
