Check out what happened on the scales for the first of Bellator’s weekend double-header, Bellator 245.
Bellator 245 goes live tomorrow night, the first of a two-night doubleheader. Friday’s event features a rematch in the main event as Lyoto Machida takes on Phil Davis at light heavyweight.
Machida, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, first met Davis back at UFC 163 on August 2, 2013. The American got the win that night in Rio, in controversial fashion. Many onlookers were baffled to see Davis land a unanimous decision victory after a less than thrilling performance. Now, at 42-years-old Machida has a chance to exact some vengeance.
The co-main event of Bellator 245 features former UFC bantamweight title challenger Cat Zingano making her promotional debut (at featherweight). Her first opponent in the Bellator cage is Gabrielle Holloway.
Also on the card are wrestling standout Ed Ruth (who takes on Taylor Johnson) and kickboxing star Raymond Daniels (who fights Peter Stanonik).
