Conor McGregor teases of a comeback against the Diaz brothers.

Conor McGregor is the latest fighter to chime in on Nick Diaz’ UFC return, with the Irishman teasing of back-to-back fights against both Nick and Nate Diaz.

“Line them up,” McGregor posted in response to BT Sports’ photo of the Diaz brothers.

McGregor is tied one apiece with younger brother Nate, having successfully avenged his submission loss to Diaz at UFC 196 with a majority decision win at UFC 202. ‘The Notorious’ believes a trilogy bout is inevitable but Diaz doesn’t appear interested in the matchup.

Older brother Nick is expected to make a comeback later this year after the former Strikeforce welterweight champion revealed that he had completed a 14-week training and diet regimen in an effort to cut to welterweight. The 19-year MMA veteran hasn’t fought since his decision loss to Anderson Silva in 2015, which was overturned to a no contest (NC) after ‘The Spider’ tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.

McGregor is currently retired but, to no one’s surprise, the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champ is still listed in the UFC’s official fighter rankings.
